What it is studied for
A 0.22 micron membrane retains bacteria, which is the standard sterilising grade for a solution that cannot be heat treated.
Handling
Bring the vial to room temperature before opening, add diluent slowly down the inside wall rather than onto the powder, and let it dissolve undisturbed — no shaking. Store at ambient temperature, and refrigerate the solution once reconstituted.
