Payment

Cryptocurrency only, with the price locked for 30 minutes at invoice. Why it works this way, and what happens at each step.

Payment is by cryptocurrency. If that is unfamiliar, this page covers why, what the steps are, and what happens when something goes wrong. It is a short list.

Why not cards

The card networks classify research compounds as a restricted category and will not underwrite merchant accounts for it. That is a decision by Visa and Mastercard, not by us, and it applies to every supplier in this sector without exception.

Any site in this category advertising card checkout is either processing through a misdescribed merchant account, which gets frozen without warning and takes customer orders down with it, or is not shipping what it claims to. Crypto is the settled arrangement here, and saying so plainly is more useful than a card logo that stops working in a month.

What is accepted

CoinCodeNetwork
BitcoinBTCBitcoin
EthereumETHERC-20
TetherUSDTTRC-20
USD CoinUSDCERC-20
LitecoinLTCLitecoin

Stablecoins are the simplest. USDT and USDC track the dollar, so the amount you send is the amount on the invoice with no conversion to think about and no exposure to a market move.

The steps

  1. Fill in delivery details at checkout and pick a coin.
  2. An invoice is issued with an exact amount, a payment address and the network. The amount is locked for 30 minutes.
  3. Send that amount from your wallet or exchange to that address, on that network.
  4. Orders release once the network confirms, usually within minutes.
  5. The order enters the dispatch queue. Before 2pm ET on a working day, it leaves the same day.

A market move while you are sending is not your problem. The locked figure is what settles the order. If the window expires before your payment lands, you get a fresh invoice at the new rate rather than a shortfall to make up.

If something goes wrong

SituationWhat happens
Sent too littleA second invoice for the difference
Sent too muchRefunded or credited, your choice
Invoice expired mid-sendFresh invoice at the new rate, payment still counts
Wrong network usedUsually recoverable. Email the transaction hash
Order lost or damaged30-day reship, unaffected by how you paid

In every one of those cases the fix starts the same way: email Info@purepeptidesources.com with your order number and the transaction hash. A person replies within 24 hours.

Refunds

Refunds are sent in the same coin, to an address you supply, at the dollar value of the original order rather than the coin amount. If the market has moved since you paid, that movement is ours to absorb, not yours. The reship guarantee on lost or damaged orders works exactly as described there and is not changed by the payment method.

If you have never used cryptocurrency

The first time takes a day or two, because a regulated exchange account needs identity verification. After that, paying an invoice takes about a minute: open the exchange or wallet, paste the address, check the network matches, send the stated amount.

Start with a stablecoin. There is no conversion to work out and no market exposure between the invoice and the payment landing.

You pay with an ordinary debit or credit card — just at the exchange rather than here. The full walkthrough, written for someone who has never held cryptocurrency, is in how to pay with crypto: which coin to pick, what a network is, what it costs, and the mistakes worth avoiding.

Questions

Why is payment cryptocurrency only?

Card networks classify research compounds as a restricted category and will not underwrite merchant accounts for it. That is a decision made by the card schemes, not by us, and it applies to every supplier in this sector. Cryptocurrency is the settled arrangement across the whole category rather than a workaround.

What happens if the price moves while I am sending?

It does not affect you. The invoice locks the exact amount for 30 minutes from the moment it is issued. If the market moves inside that window, the order still settles at the locked figure. If the window expires before the payment lands, a fresh invoice is issued at the new rate and you are not out of pocket.

Which coins are accepted?

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Litecoin (LTC). Stablecoins are the simplest choice because the amount you send is the amount in dollars, with no conversion to think about.

What if I send the wrong amount or use the wrong network?

Email the order number and the transaction hash. An underpayment is topped up with a second invoice for the difference, an overpayment is refunded or credited, whichever you prefer. A transfer sent on the wrong network can usually be recovered but not always, which is why each invoice states the network explicitly.

Can I get a refund in cryptocurrency?

Yes. Refunds are sent in the same coin to an address you supply, at the dollar value of the original order rather than the coin amount, so a change in the market between purchase and refund does not cost you. The 30-day reship guarantee is unaffected by any of this.

Do I need to buy cryptocurrency first?

If you do not already hold any, a regulated exchange account is the normal route and takes a day or two to set up the first time. After that, paying an invoice takes about a minute. Stablecoins are the least complicated place to start.
